Installation

nvk.tools installs through ReaPack, Reaper's package manager, and needs Reaper 7 or later on macOS or Windows. Tick each step as you go; your progress is saved in this browser, so it's still here after you restart Reaper.

1. Install ReaPack​

  1. In Reaper, choose Options > Show REAPER resource path in explorer/finder.
  2. Download ReaPack and move it into the UserPlugins folder inside that resource path.
  3. Restart Reaper.
macOS only

If macOS blocks the ReaPack extension:

  1. Right-click the ReaPack extension file and choose Open. When the security warning appears, click Done.
  2. Open System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security, and click Open Anyway.
  3. Follow the prompts to open it, then restart Reaper.

2. Import the repository​

  1. Choose Extensions > ReaPack > Import repositories.
  2. Paste the repository URL https://nvk.tools/index.xml and click OK.

3. Install the scripts and extensions​

  1. Choose Extensions > ReaPack > Browse packages.
  2. Select the nvk packages you want, plus nvk_SHARED, which every script depends on. Then choose Actions > Install and click Apply.
Looking for nvk_WORKFLOW?

It installs as three packages: nvk_FOLDER_ITEMS, nvk_SUBPROJECT, and nvk_TAKES. Your nvk_WORKFLOW license key authorizes all three.

Install these extensions from the same Browse packages window:

  1. SWS/S&M Extension
  2. ReaImGui
  3. js_ReaScript API
What if I don't see these extensions?

They come from the ReaTeam Extensions repository, which ReaPack includes by default. If it's missing from your repository list, import it with Extensions > ReaPack > Import repositories:

4. Run a script​

  1. Choose Actions > Show action list..., find the script, and run it.
  2. Enter your license key when prompted, or leave the field blank and click OK to start a 14-day trial.
What if I need offline authorization?

Run the script, enter your license key, and click OK. A webpage opens where you can generate an offline authorization key for your computer.

If that computer has no internet connection, copy the URL from the webpage and open it on another computer, or email your install ID and license key to support@nvk.tools.

Once you have the offline authorization key, run the script again and paste both your license key and the offline authorization key into the activation dialog.
